5) भागवत पुराण :-
पाँचवा है भागवतपुराण, जिसमें अट्ठारह हजार श्र्लोक हैं, तथा बारह स्कंध हैं, इस ग्रंथ में अध्यात्मिक विषयों पर वार्तालाप है भागवत् पुराण में भक्ति, ज्ञान तथा वैराग्य की महानता को दर्शाया गया है, भगवान् विष्णुजी और भगवान् गोविन्द के अवतार की कथाओं को विसतार से दर्शाया गया हैं, इसके अतिरिक्त महाभारत काल से पूर्व के कई राजाओं, ऋषि मुनियों तथा असुरों की कथायें भी संकलित हैं।
इस ग्रंथ में महाभारत युद्ध के पश्चात श्रीकृष्ण का देहत्याग, दूारिका नगरी के जलमग्न होने और यादव वँशियों के नाश तक का विवर्ण भी दिया गया है।

5) Bhagavata Purana :-
Fifth is the Bhagavata Purana, which has eighteen thousand verses, and twelve skandhas, in this book there is a conversation on spiritual subjects. Apart from this, the stories of many kings, sages and asuras before the Mahabharata period are also compiled.
In this book, the death of Shri Krishna after the Mahabharata war, the submergence of the city of Dwarika and the destruction of the Yadav clans have also been given.
